Commemorazione Giovanni Falcone II

On the 23th of May took place at the Dante Alighieri School, in São Paulo, the event “Commemorazione Giovanni Falcone”, to celebrate the 24º death anniversary of the Italian judge Giovanni Falcone.

Some important personalities of the Italian-Brazilian community participated of the event, such as the General Consul of Italy in São Paulo, Michele Pala and the judge Walter Maierovitch Fanganiello.

During the event, there was a round table discussion with the law professor at University of São Paulo Paola Forgioni, Mr. Antonio Alamia, president of USEF Brasil, Mr. Celso Azzi, president of the Institute Norberto Bobbio and Mr. Giacomo Guarnera, who witnessed the difficult period experienced by the Sicilians in the 80s and 90s, remembering all the victims of the mafia, the trajectory and memory of Giovanni Falcone.
